The Westport Heights Booster Club has been in existence for many years. This parent based group has three main functions: Fundraising, School Beautification, and School Spirit.
Fundraising is our primary focus with 100% of the profit directly benefiting students and the school. Fundraising efforts have included the following: fall and spring catalog sales, a cookie dough sale, a family portrait night, Shakey's Family Night, and Friday sales for students.
School Beautification projects focus on continually enhancing our learning environment so that students continue to grow, thrive and flourish. On-going enhancements include garden clean-up, planting, and supplies, wall and tile murals, and matching funding for the Wonder of Reading Library Mural.
School Spirit is alive and well at Westport Heights! Booster Club manages the school t-shirt and sweatshirt sales available to staff and students. All Condors show their school spirit every Friday and on curriculum trips by wearing school apparel. If you are interested in purchasing school spirit apparel, you can print this form, fill-it out and turn it in to the Booster Club box in the main office to order your school spirit apparel.
Last school year, Booster Club funded Flexercise, a Physical Education program, printers for all classrooms, teacher/classroom wish list items, beautification items, buses for field trips, and miscellaneous items and purchases benefitting the students.
Best of all, the Booster Club is open to all parents and free to join!
