»Flexercise for Kids(tm)

The Flexercise For Kids(tm) program is designed to bridge the gap between academics and the physical arts. The Flexercise for Kids Program seeks to train students and assist teachers to implement a non-competitive skill based physical fitness program that is developmentally appropriate and meets the State Education Standards.

This provides students with the opportunity to learn skills that will assist them in performing proficiently on the annual state fitness test.  This should translate into better results in the overall state physical fitness scores both individually, as well as for the entire student population. In addition, the student population will decrease the likelihood of childhood obesity related illnesses, challenge kids mentally & physically utilizing competition, build a solid curricular framework that is conducive to learning, incorporate Critical Thinking / Problem Solving into Healthy Lifestyles,  and finally, develop positive rapport of structure and discipline among children.
