Westport Heights experienced a 24 point increase on the STAR CST/CAT6 Testing for the 2006-2007 school year as a result of grade level teacher collaborative planning, quality first instruction, coaching in both literacy and mathematics, data analysis, lesson study, strategic intervention, and community involvement. It's important for us to review those factors that lead to improvement so that we can build upon them this school year. We can celebrate the effort and process as we continue to refine our practices to meet our goal of enhanced teaching and learning. Condors current API is 773 and we're soaring high to 800 in 2008. Let's all do our part to support all students in their quest to learn.
