Kindergarten Collaborative
Ms. Wright and Mrs. Sato

Welcome to Kindergarten! Kindergarten is a milestone in your child’s life. It is our goal to help your child develop emotionally, socially, and academically. We will help your child learn to develop independence and a sense of responsibility. Helping children learn, play, and work cooperatively is an ongoing process. New experiences and friends will make this a special time for you and your child.

We are very excited about the Kindergarten Collaborative opportunity. The children will benefit from having two teachers co-teaching and will share a full day assistant. Co-teaching is when two professionals teach the same class together in the same room. Co-teaching has become a very popular way of teaching to address a wide variety of needs.

We are very pleased to have your child in our class this year. It is our hope that all of the students will leave kindergarten knowing the joy and the value of learning. I want each child to have a love for books and a desire to read for entertainment and to acquire information. Among our goals is for your child to be happy and feel good about themselves and school. To achieve these goals, we need the support of each family. Let’s work together to create the best possible environment for your child.
